There is hardly anything people treasure more than not being annihilated

Gentlemen, it seems the news these days is nothing but a series of emerging conflicts. In light of this I offer some light reading and a bit of food for thought.

Peace through superior firepower.

It really all is quite simple, "either be a homicidal maniac thus ensuring peace and love in the world, or be some pacifist hippy while the streets flow with the blood of the innocent."

I just did some. It was neat. This post is meaningful.

A beginning.

For many years I've particularly enjoyed the HL Mencken quote:

"Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."

For me, this line is a truth of life. At times we all go on the warpath, so I'm creating this Blog to do just that from time to time. what follows will be a collection of rants, absurdities, and more often than not, a heaping helping of whatever strikes me as worth the time to post.
